History

At the end of 1997 we decided to acquire the old school buildings at Kampenhout-Relst. Through a large-scale renovation project carried out by sister company Insulation Renovation Verhoeven, these were transformed into an office complex. The entire complex was completely stripped and uncovered down to the supporting structure, insulated with the products of Insulation Renovation Verhoeven and, with the necessary sense of aesthetics, finished into comfortable, modern and ready-to-use office units. By preserving the authentic character of the building and the fact that both business managers still went to school here, the link with the name “The Old School” is therefore quickly established. In 2009, the renovated buildings on this site were added with a new built part. As usual, the most advanced techniques were used and insulation was implemented at a high standard. The new built part was realised in collaboration with Ontwerpbureau Dewit from Kortenberg. The range of small and larger office units, some of which have a duplex, means that we have a varied portfolio. Plenty of opportunities for tenants to find what they are looking for.

Infrastructure

In our building, located on the street side (unit 7), all energy meters are located in the basement. This strategic location allows for efficient splitting of all utilities, with a separate meter for each unit. From the same basement also depart all prepared standby lines, equipped with pull wire, to all units. This ensures trouble-free and fast installation of telephone lines, ISDN and Internet, without the need for extensive breaking. It is important to note that each tenant is responsible for contracting with the electric company for their own energy meter. This gives tenants complete control over their energy supply and consumption.
